CGET 505 Seminar in Environmental Toxicology (2 credits)
Prerequisite: CGET501 Integrated Life Sciences or equivalent

Course Description :
This course focuses on various topics which are of
current research interest and/or of national/global concerns and on linking
principles and applications. Students are assigned individually or in groups
to present a critical review of the literature and recent research findings on
selected topics under the guidance of faculty members. Case study presentations
would also be emphasized in this course. Students may work as a group to select
the cases and determine the approaches to solve the problems. A brief dissertation
of the seminar topics will be prepared for presentation. Exchange of ideas and
discussion among students and faculty is the major objective of the course.
