1. The qualifying examination may be a written and/or oral examination.
2. Eligibly requirements for the qualifying examination:
    - Doctoral students must abide by the announcements set out by the respective Program Management Committee.
    - Master’s students being transferred into a doctoral degree program
  • (1) For Plan A(1), students must have completed research which can be further developed into a doctoral thesis. Additionally, they must have been accepted by the respective Program Management Committee and have notified the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs.
  • (2) For Plan A(2), students must have been enrolled for not less than 2 semesters and completed not less than 15 credits of coursework with a cumulative GPA (i.e., GPAX) not less than 3.50.
