English Language Communication Skills

Course Description :
This intensive forty hour course has been designed to help students
prepare for taking a postgraduate program in which instruction will be in
English. The course will focus on developing students’ ability to communicate
effectively within the context of the postgraduate program course requirements
namely writing research proposals, describing experimental design, writing up
research results, thesis writing and editing research reports for journal
publication. The course will also provide opportunities for developing
presentational skills in spoken English as well as interpersonal spoken
communication in academic and wider social contexts.
