CGAB 601  Principles of Environmental Health (2 credits)
Prerequisite: CGET501 Integrated Life Sciences or equivalent


Course Description :
     The course offers a general introduction to the health problems stemming from contamination of air, water, food and work place and other special environments. The course will focus on the qualitative and quantitative aspects of the assessment of risk to health from environmental exposure; the use of such data in policy development and environmental management. Policy required for regulation and alternative strategies for prevention will also be discussed.
