Course Description :
The first part of the course covers mechanisms of induction
of genetic alteration, methods for detecting genetic alterations, molecular analysis
of mutations and gene expression.
The second part of this course covers mechanisms of chemical
carcinogenesis, DNA repair and chemical carcinogenesis, identification of potential
carcinogenic agents, evaluation of carcinogenic potential, and prevention of human
cancer induced by chemicals.
