Course Description :
Student thesis research will cover research in different
areas involving toxic substances polluting air, water, and soil, both which occur naturally
or are anthropogenic. The research will focus on effects of these toxic substances on the
environment and ecosystems, mechanisms of actions, and health effects. Toxicants such as
carcinogens, petrochemicals, heavy metals, and pesticides will be studied.
