Chulabhorn Graduate Institute
Training Future Scientists for Thailand and the Asian Region
|
|
|
As the eminent roles of scientists in Thai society have become more imminently realized,
it is now of paramount importance to establish a graduate institute for the ever-increasing
needs of experts in science and technology.
Since established in 1987, the Chulabhorn Research
Institute (CRI), has placed its emphasis on research, as well as training and development scientists both domestically and internationally. |

On the auspicious occasion of HRH Princess Chulabhorn Mahidol’s 48th Birthday
in 2005, the Executive Committee of the CRI, with the approval from the Thai
Ministry of Education, have established the
Chulabhorn Graduate Institute (CGI)
with its aims to foster graduate learning, to promote scientific
collaborations in multidisciplinary research, and to push forward new
exciting frontiers in science and technology. The inaugural enrollment
commenced in June 2007, with the incoming class of 30 students in three
different fields.
In order for prospective students to gain more valuable information
regarding the Institute, you are cordially invited to participate in
the Open House, the event whereby you can interact with CGI staff and
current CGI students. More importantly, you will also obtain first-hand
information about the program of study that you find most interesting for
your future graduate research, as well as visit various laboratories of
the CRI, which are well-equipped with state-of-the-art research equipment. |
