Chulabhorn Graduate Institute ( CGI) was established in 2005, and the first academic year started in 2007. Library services for CGI since the beginning in 2007,
has operated with assistance from Chulabhorn Research Institute ( CRI) library. CGI Learning Center (formerly CGI Library) was allowed to accommodate the service
and working space at CRI Library, located on the 3rd floor of CRI Chemistry Research Building. Also CRI library resources have opened for CGI students to share.
The staff of CRI Library was responsible for all library services for CGI from the beginning. CGI organizational structure was approved in 2009 by CGI Council , that the library, information and media service was under the Academic Service Center,
and reports to Vice President of Academic Affairs. In 2010, CGI organizational structure was revised. And, CGI Learning Center ‘s scope of work covers the
management of library services, and to performs as the Institute’s center of learning resources to support all CGI academic disciplines. And, CGI Learning
reports to Vice President of Academic Affairs.
CGI Learning Center has recruited its own staff in 2009, by appointing 3 professional staff: Director of CGI Learning Center, and 2 Information Specialists.
CGI Learning Center has started the service at CGI Building on Floor M since the first of December 2010.
