CGET 605 Bioengineering and Environmental Health (3 credits)

Prerequisite:

CGET 501 Integrated Life Sciences or equivalent

Course Description:

The objective of this course is to show how basic science and engineering tools are used in a coordinated way to solve public health problems. The problems that will be addressed will range from those of environmental pollution from industrial sources to the configuration of a biotechnology-based company. The course uses case studies as its main method of teaching.
