Research Interests:

    Professor Govitrapong is an internationally recognized neuroscientist who has devoted more than 30 years to a multidisciplinary research approach in studying melatonin functions involved in drug addiction, neurodegenerative disorders (Alzheimer’s disease) aging and neural stem cells. She has published more than 170 publications and 19 book chapters. She has received many research awards and honors, including 1st place Outstanding Research Award 2011 from NRCT, Outstanding Scientist Award of the Year 2012 and the recipient of a Distinguished Research Professor from the Thailand Research Fund. She has made several research contributions to neuroscience research and her works have been cited extensively and yielded sustainable benefits to the public.
