Research Interests:
1.Glycochemistry (Sugar Chemistry):
We are interested in developing efficient synthetic methodologies for a wide range of glycan-based compounds (sugar-containing compounds), including glycosides, nucleosides, oligosaccharides (glycopolymers), and glycoconjugate vaccines for various therapeutic applications (anti-cancer, anti-viral, anti-tubercular, post-translational modification inhibitor, etc.).


2.Medicinal Chemistry and Drug Discovery:
We are also interested in utilizing both the computational tools (simulations, database, artificial intelligence, etc.) and the biological tools (in vitro assays) for the discovery of the new therapeutic compounds and for the elucidation of their structure-activity-relationships (SARs), for future drug designs.
