CGI seventh year Founding Anniversary

  

CGICRI and CCC executives together with lecturers, CGI students and special guests attended a Buddhist merit making ceremony in the morning of December 28th, 2012 at the CGI building to celebrate the seventh year anniversary of the founding of CGI in order to pay respect to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, Her Majesty Queen Regent Sirikit and Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Mahidol, Chancellor of the CGI.

Then, in the afternoon, CGI executives, faculty members, officers and students went together to the grounds of the institute to plant “Orange trumpet creeper” which is designated by Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Mahidol as the emblem tree of the CGI.

 

 

After that, CGI had sports events to harmonize staff and student relations. All staff and students were divided into 2 teams, orange and blue. Before the events started, Assoc. Prof. Dr.Thanuttkhul Mongkolaussavarat, Assistant Rector of CGI gave a welcoming speech, emphasizing the importance of harmony within the institute. Then Professor Dr.Somsak Ruchirawat, the Rector of CGI and Assoc Prof. Dr. Jutamaad Satayavivad, the vice rector of CGI bestowed their New Year wishes for academic success moral integrity on all of participants.

 

 

There then followed sports competitions and social events, such as chair ball, eating contest, futsal, tug-of-war etc. Additionally, the student union organized a lucky draw for all CGI students.
