Chulabhorn Graduate Institute extended congratulations to Professor Dr Prasat Kittakoop on the occasion of his being granted a royal audience to receive a certificate of achievement as a Senior Research Scholar)

Chubhorn Graduate extended its heartfelt congratulations to Professor Dr. Prasat Kittakoop, a faculty member of the Chemical Sciences Program, Chulabhorn Graduate Institute, on being granted an audience with Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn to receive a certificate of achievement as a Senior Research Scholar on the occasion of Her Royal Highness graciously travelling in her private capacity to preside over the opening of the Thailand Research Expo 2024. The Expo is the 19th of the annual event, which has consecutively been organized by Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation. The organizing body is the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) in collaboration with its nationwide research networks. The theme of this year’s event was “Mobilizing Research Strength to Sustainably Move the Thai Economy and Society”. The Expo was aimed to serve as a venue for presentation of outstanding research achievements and innovations of Thai researchers. Moreover, it provided opportunities for the exchange of knowledge and creation of networks for cooperation of researchers and the private, civil society as well as state sectors to encourage genuinely beneficial application of research works and inspire the youth to further their education and engage in research careers. The event was held at the Ball Room of Centara Grand Hotel and the Bangkok Convention Center of Central World, Bangkok, on 30 August 2024.

The Expo was organized in six themes covering research and innovation areas that meet the various aspects of the country’s needs. These include the economic requirements, as well as those relating to BCG, soft power, the new economy, sustainable society, the environment, community enterprises, and the SMEs. More than 900 research works were on exhibition at this event.

สถาบันบัณฑิตศึกษาจุฬาภรณ์ ขอแสดงความยินดีแด่ ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ประสาท กิตตะคุปต์ อาจารย์ประจำสาขาวิชาวิทยาศาสตร์เคมี สถาบันบัณฑิตศึกษาจุฬาภรณ์ เนื่องในโอกาสเข้ารับพระราชทานเกียรติบัตร รางวัล เมธีวิจัยอาวุโส จากสมเด็จพระกนิษฐาธิราชเจ้า กรมสมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดาฯ สยามบรมราชกุมารี เสด็จพระราชดำเนินเป็นการส่วนพระองค์ ไปเป็นประธานพิธีเปิดงาน “มหกรรมงานวิจัยแห่งชาติ 2567” หรือ Thailand Research Expo 2024 ซึ่ง กระทรวงการอุดมศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัยและนวัตกรรม โดย สำนักงานการวิจัยแห่งชาติ (วช.) ร่วมกับหน่วยงานภาคีเครือข่ายในระบบวิจัยทั่วประเทศ จัดขึ้นต่อเนื่องเป็นปีที่ 19 ในภายใต้แนวคิด “สานพลังวิจัย ขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจและสังคมไทยอย่างยั่งยืน”เพื่อเป็นเวทีในการนำเสนอผลงานวิจัยและนวัตกรรมที่โดดเด่นจากนักวิจัยไทย อีกทั้งยังเป็นการเปิดโอกาสในการแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ สร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือระหว่างนักวิจัยภาคเอกชน ภาคประชาสังคม ภาครัฐ เพื่อกระตุ้นให้เกิดการนำผลงานวิจัยไปใช้ประโยชน์ได้จริง และสร้างแรงบันดาลใจให้เยาวชนในการศึกษาต่อและประกอบอาชีพด้านงานวิจัย ณ ห้องบอลรูม โรงแรมเซนทาราแกรนด์ และบางกอกคอนเวนชันเซ็นเตอร์ เซ็นทรัลเวิลด์ กรุงเทพฯ เมื่อวันที่ 30 สิงหาคม 2567

สำหรับรูปแบบการจัดงานแบ่งออกเป็น 6 ธีม ซึ่งครอบคลุมงานวิจัยและนวัตกรรมที่ตอบโจทย์ความต้องการของประเทศในหลากหลายมิติ ประกอบด้วย เศรษฐกิจ BCG, Soft Power, เศรษฐกิจใหม่, สังคมยั่งยืน, สิ่งแวดล้อมและวิสาหกิจชุมชน และเอสเอ็มอี โดยผลงานวิจัยที่มาจัดแสดงภายในงานปีนี้มีจำนวนกว่า 900 ผลงาน
