Chulabhorn Graduate Institute held CGI Open House 2025

On Saturday 19 November 2024 at 9:00 AM, Professor Emeritus Dr. Somsak Ruchirawat, Rector of Chulabhorn Graduate Institute, presided over the opening ceremony of “CGI Open House 2025”. The purpose of this event, which was held at the main auditorium on level 2 of the Chulabhorn Graduate Institute building, is to provide opportunities for students who have graduated in science and technology to apply for scholarships to further their education at the Institute in three Master’s degree and doctoral levels in three study programs, namely, Applied Biological Sciences: Environmental Health, Chemical Sciences, and Environmental Toxicology. These scholarships are offered in the form of grants covering tuition and study program fees, monthly allowances, and other expenses, throughout the study program duration.

Chulabhorn Graduate Institute delivers its Master’s degree and doctoral curriculums as international programs. The study program delivery emphasizes participatory methods that encourage instructor-student co-working and team research efforts to enhance analytical skills and capability to integrate scientific knowledge and skills, so that the study program graduates become leaders in research and application of research findings to beneficial use in society. Instruction is provided by the Institute’s faculty members, who all have graduated from many top universities abroad. In addition, the Institute has benefited from cooperation with the world’s leading universities, including Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Johns Hopkins University, Harvard University, Dartmouth College, New York University Grossman School of Medicine, and the University of Michigan in the United States; Utrecht University in the Netherlands; Aarhus University in Demark; and Faculty of Medicine at Imperial College in the United Kingdom. The Institute has also maintained collaboration with eminent experts at Chulabhorn Research Institute and other universities in Thailand.

The Open House activities included visits to the laboratory that is well equipped with state-of-the art equipment at the Biomedical Building, Chulabhorn Graduate Institute, and the Institute’s laboratories . Moreover, visitors had an opportunity to engage in talks with the Institute’s faculty members and successful alumni to exchange knowledge, especially during the transfer of good stories from senior students to their prospective junior counterparts. Other activities were the visit to the exhibition of research products of the faculty members and students and participation in a quiz, for which gifts were distributed, as well as special prizes for participants in the Open House.

สถาบันบัณฑิตศึกษาจุฬาภรณ์จัดงานแนะนำหลักสูตร CGI Open House 2025 เพื่อรับสมัครนักศึกษา ประจำปี 2568

เมื่อวันเสาร์ที่ 19 พฤศจิกายน 2567 เวลา 09.00 น. ศาสตราจารย์เกียรติคุณ ดร.สมศักดิ์ รุจิรวัฒน์ อธิการบดีสถาบันบัณฑิตศึกษาจุฬาภรณ์ เป็นประธานในพิธีเปิดงาน “แนะนำหลักสูตร CGI Open House 2025” เพื่อรับสมัครนักศึกษา ปี 2568 ณ ห้องประชุมใหญ่ ชั้น 2 อาคารสถาบันบัณฑิตศึกษาจุฬาภรณ์ โดยเปิดโอกาสให้นักศึกษาที่จบการศึกษาสายวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีได้มีโอกาสสมัครขอรับทุนการศึกษา ระดับปริญญาโทและปริญญาเอก 3 สาขาวิชา คือ วิทยาศาสตร์ชีวภาพประยุกต์: อนามัยสิ่งแวดล้อม วิทยาศาสตร์เคมี และพิษวิทยาสิ่งแวดล้อม โดยทุนการศึกษาดังกล่าวเป็นทุนแบบให้เปล่าครอบคลุมค่าเล่าเรียน ค่าธรรมเนียมการศึกษา ค่าใช้จ่ายรายเดือน และอื่นๆ ตลอดหลักสูตร

สำหรับการจัดการเรียนการสอนของสถาบันฯ เป็นหลักสูตรนานาชาติ ที่มุ่งเน้นการเรียนการสอนแบบมีส่วนร่วมระหว่างอาจารย์และนักศึกษา ตลอดจนการทำงานวิจัยอย่างเป็นทีม มีทักษะในการคิดวิเคราะห์ และสามารถนำความรู้เข้ามาผสานต่อทักษะทางวิทยาศาสตร์เพื่อสร้างความเป็นผู้นำด้านการวิจัยและการประยุกต์ใช้ให้เกิดประโยชน์ต่อสังคม ทำการสอนโดยคณาจารย์ประจำสถาบันซึ่งสำเร็จการศึกษาระดับปริญญาเอกจากมหาวิทยาลัยชั้นนำของต่างประเทศทุกท่าน นอกจากนี้ สถาบันยังได้รับความร่วมมือจากคณาจารย์ของมหาวิทยาลัยชั้นนำทั่วโลก เช่น สถาบันเทคโนโลยีแมสซาชูเซตส์ มหาวิทยาลัยจอห์น ฮอปกินส์ มหาวิทยาลัยฮาร์วาร์ด มหาวิทยาลัยดาร์ตมัธ วิทยาลัยการแพทย์แห่งมหาวิทยาลัยนิวยอร์ค และมหาวิทยาลัยมิชิแกน มหาวิทยาลัยอูเทร็ค มหาวิทยาลัยอาร์ฮุส และวิทยาลัยวิทยาศาสตร์และการแพทย์อิมพีเรียล เป็นต้น ตลอดจนผู้เชี่ยวชาญจากสถาบันวิจัยจุฬาภรณ์และมหาวิทยาลัยที่มีชื่อเสียงในประเทศ

กิจกรรมภายในงานประกอบด้วย การเยี่ยมชมห้องปฏิบัติการที่เพียบพร้อมด้วยเครื่องมืออันทันสมัย ณ อาคารชีวการแพทย์ สถาบันวิจัยจุฬาภรณ์ และห้องปฏิบัติการของสถาบันบัณฑิตศึกษาจุฬาภรณ์ นอกจากนี้ยังได้พบปะพูดคุยกับคณาจารย์และศิษย์เก่าของสถาบันฯที่ประสบความสำเร็จ เพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้ระหว่างกัน ในช่วงเรื่องเล่าดีๆ จากพี่สู่น้อง รวมทั้งได้เยี่ยมชมนิทรรศการแสดงผลงานวิจัยของคณาจารย์และนักศึกษา พร้อมทั้งร่วมกิจกรรมตอบคำถามเพื่อรับของที่ระลึกสถาบัน และรางวัลพิเศษเฉพาะผู้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมในงาน
