Chulabhorn Graduate Institute staged Children’s Day activities 2025 at the nearby canal-bank community under the theme: Good Knowledge from Older to Younger Children – “Inculcating love of science and technology in children from young age”.

On Saturday 11 January 2025 at 4:00-6:00 PM, Chulabhorn Graduate Institute, led by Professor Dr. Prasat Kittakoop, together with a team of faculty members, personnel, and student representatives, volunteered to convey happiness to more than 40 children and youth at the nearly canal-bank community on the National Children’s Day 2025. Initial activities consisted in introducing Chulabhorn Graduate Institute and Chulabhorn Research Institute to the children. Then, activities were held which were aimed to inculcate love of science and technology in children from young age, for example, talks on science that is close to daily life and simple scientific demonstrations. The purpose was to encourage the children to have fun in participating in Q&A sessions. Prizes were distributed to the children and youth taking part in such activities. Major prizes included bicycles, writing utensils, dolls, toys, appliances, as well as milk, candies, and a lot of convenience foods.

These activities contribute to the inculcation of the love of science and technology in children from young age. That is, to inspire them and promote their interest in pursuing a career path in research or science in the future. In addition, the activities can be expected to promote good relationship between the canal-bank community and the nearby organizations, as well as its good attitude towards these organizations.

สถาบันบัณฑิตศึกษาจุฬาภรณ์จัดกิจกรรมวันเด็กแห่งชาติ ปี 2568 ณ ชุมชนริมคลองข้างสถาบันฯ ภายใต้หัวข้อ ความรู้ดีๆ จากพี่สู่น้อง เรื่อง “การปลูกฝังความรักในวิทย์และเทคโนฯ วัยเด็ก”

เมื่อวันเสาร์ที่ 11 มกราคม 2568 ระหว่างเวลา 16.00 – 18.00 น. สถาบันบัณฑิตศึกษาจุฬาภรณ์ นำโดย ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ประสาท กิตตะคุปต์ พร้อมด้วยทีมคณาจารย์ บุคลากร และตัวแทนนักศึกษา ร่วมเป็นจิตอาสา ส่งมอบความสุขให้แก่เด็กๆ และเยาวชนในชุมชนริมคลองข้างสถาบันฯ กว่า 40 คน เนื่องในวันเด็กแห่งชาติ ปี 2568 โดยกิจกรรมในเบื้องต้นเป็นการแนะนำสถาบันบัณฑิตศึกษาจุฬาภรณ์และสถาบันวิจัยจุฬาภรณ์ จากนั้น เป็นการจัดกิจกรรมต่างๆ เพื่อปลูกฝังความรักในวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีในวัยเด็ก เช่น การพูดคุยเรื่องวิทยาศาสตร์ใกล้ตัว การแสดงทางวิทยาศาสตร์แบบง่ายๆ โดยให้เด็กๆ ได้ร่วมสนุกด้วยการตอบคำถามและให้รางวัลกับเด็กๆ และเยาวชนที่ร่วมกิจกรรม อาทิ รางวัลใหญ่ ได้แก่ รถจักรยาน พร้อมเครื่องเขียน ตุ๊กตา ของเล่น สิ่งของเครื่องใช้ต่าง ๆ รวมถึงนม ขนม และอาหารกึ่งสำเร็จรูปเป็นจำนวนมาก เพื่อเป็นของขวัญและของรางวัลในการจัดกิจกรรมงานวันเด็ก ปี 2568

กิจกรรมดังกล่าวนับเป็นการปลูกฝังความรักในวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีตั้งแต่ในวัยเด็ก เป็นการสร้าง แรงบันดาลใจและส่งเสริมให้เด็กๆ สนใจในอาชีพนักวิจัย หรือนักวิทยาศาสตร์ในอนาคต นอกจากนี้ ยังเป็นการสร้างความสัมพันธ์ที่ดี และทัศนคติที่ดีของประชาชนในชุมชนริมคลองที่มีต่อหน่วยงานใกล้เคียงอีกด้วย
