Chulabhorn Graduate Institute extended its congratulations to Dr. Poramate Songthammawat on his being accorded an NRCT Quality Achievement Award (Thesis).

On Sunday 2 February 2025 Dr. Poramate Songthammawat, a researcher affiliated with Chulabhorn Research Institute’s Pharmaceutical Chemistry Laboratory, who completed Chulabhorn Graduate Institute’s Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical Biology in academic year 2019, was awarded an NRCT Quality Achievement Award (Thesis). The award was bestowed on him by Miss Supamas Isarabhakdi, Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), who kindly came to preside over the conferral ceremony at the Exhibition and Conference Centre, BITEC, Bang Na. A total of 204 works were recognized for NRCT Quality Achievement Awards, of which there were three categories, namely:
1. 67 research awards
2. 101 thesis awards
3. 36 invention awards.

Dr. Poramate’s thesis, which was recognized for the NRCT Quality Achievement Award, is titled “Bioinspired Diastereoconvergent Total Synthesis of Palodesangren Methyl Ethers”. Dr. Poonsakdi Ploypradith, a faculty member of the Chemical Sciences (CS) Program at Chulabhorn Graduate Institute, was the thesis adviser, who provided guidance and direction for the thesis research activities. The NRCT Quality Achievement Award conferral ceremony was organized by the Office of the National Research Council of Thailand – an activity that is important in terms of the inspiration and morale it provides to researchers and inventors in their effort to create works that are beneficial to national development. Chulabhorn Graduate Institute wishes to reaffirm its congratulations to Dr. Poramate, who is the alumnus of Chulabhorn Graduate Institute’s Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry in academic year 2019.

สถาบันบัณฑิตศึกษาจุฬาภรณ์ ขอแสดงความยินดีแก่ ดร.ปรเมธ ทรงธรรมวัฒน์ ในโอกาสได้รับมอบประกาศนียบัตรรางวัลผลงานคุณภาพ (วิทยานิพนธ์) NRCT Quality Achievement Award

เมื่อวันอาทิตย์ที่ 2 กุมภาพันธ์ 2568 ดร.ปรเมธ ทรงธรรมวัฒน์ นักวิจัย ห้องปฏิบัติการวิจัยเภสัชเคมี สถาบันวิจัยจุฬาภรณ์ ซึ่งสำเร็จการศึกษา หลักสูตรปรัชญาดุษฎีบัณฑิต สาขาเคมีชีวภาพ ปีการศึกษา 2562 ของสถาบันบัณฑิตศึกษาจุฬาภรณ์ ได้รับมอบประกาศนียบัตรรางวัลผลงานคุณภาพ (วิทยานิพนธ์) NRCT Quality Achievement Award จากนางสาวศุภมาส อิศรภักดี รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการอุดมศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัยและนวัตกรรม (อว.) ซึ่งให้เกียรติเป็นประธานในพิธีมอบรางวัล ณ ศูนย์นิทรรศการและการประชุม ไบเทค บางนา โดยมีผลงานได้รับรางวัล รวมจำนวนทั้งสิ้น 204 ผลงาน แบ่งตามประเภทรางวัล ดังนี้
1. รางวัลผลงานวิจัย จำนวน 67 ผลงาน
2. รางวัลวิทยานิพนธ์ จำนวน 101 เรื่อง
3. รางวัลผลงานประดิษฐ์คิดค้น จำนวน 36 ผลงาน

สำหรับผลงานคุณภาพด้านวิทยานิพนธ์ของ ดร.ปรเมธ ทรงธรรมวัฒน์ ที่ได้รับการคัดเลือกให้รับรางวัล คือ “การสังเคราะห์พาโลเดสแซงเกร็นโดยวิธีการเลียนแบบขบวนการชีวสังเคราะห์ (Bioinspired Diastereoconvergent Total Synthesis of Palodesangren Methyl Ethers) โดยมีอาจารย์ ดร.พูนศักดิ์ พลอยประดิษฐ์ อาจารย์ประจำสาขาวิทยาศาสตร์เคมี สถาบันบัณฑิตศึกษาจุฬาภรณ์ เป็นอาจารย์ที่ปรึกษาวิทยานิพนธ์ ให้คำแนะนำและแนวทางในการทำวิจัยต่างๆ ด้วยดี ทั้งนี้ พิธีมอบรางวัลผลงานคุณภาพ NRCT Quality Achievement Award ดังกล่าว จัดโดยสำนักงานการวิจัยแห่งชาติ นับว่ามีความสำคัญกับต่อการสร้างแรงจูงใจ เป็นขวัญและกำลังใจแก่นักวิจัยและนักประดิษฐ์ ในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานที่เป็นประโยชน์ต่อการพัฒนาประเทศต่อไป
