Chulabhorn Graduate Institute organized an event to uphold a fine Thai tradition of “Wai Kru”.

On 14 August 2025 at 10:00 AM Chulabhorn Graduate Institute, by its Academic Support Division in collaboration with the Student Club, organized a Wai Kru ceremony for the 2025 academic year. The event represented a fine Thai tradition of the students showing their sense of gratitude to the teachers who impart knowledge to them and at the same time being given a blessing on the auspicious occasion of the opening of a new semester. Held at the main auditorium on the second floor of the Chulabhorn Graduate Institute building, the event was kindly presided over by Professor Dr. Somsak Ruchirawat, Rector of Chulabhorn Graduate Institute. He was accompanied by the Institute’s administrators including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Piniti Ratananukul, Prof. Emeritus M.R. Jisnuson Svasti, Prof. Emeritus Dr. Piyarat Govitrapong, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jutamaad Satayavivad, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Panida Navasumrit, together with the Institute’s faculty members and personnel.

The ceremony featured a representative of the students delivering a message showing respect to the teachers. Then, Prof. Emeritus Dr. Somsak Ruchirawat offered his best wishes together with an instructional message. Following the presentation of flower garlands by the students to the Rector and all faculty members, a group photo was taken to commemorate the event. The Wai Kru activity is aimed to uphold and conserve a fine cultural tradition of the Thai people.

สถาบันบัณฑิตศึกษาจุฬาภรณ์ จัดกิจกรรม “ไหว้ครู” ปีการศึกษา 2568 เพื่อสืบสานวัฒนธรรมอันดีงาม

เมื่อวันพฤหัสบดีที่ 14 สิงหาคม 2568 เวลา 10.00 น. สถาบันบัณฑิตศึกษาจุฬาภรณ์โดยฝ่ายส่งเสริมวิชาการร่วมกับสโมสรนักศึกษาสถาบันฯ ได้จัดพิธีไหว้ครูประจำปีการศึกษา 2568 เพื่อแสดงความกตัญญูกตเวทิตาต่อคณาจารย์ผู้ประสาทวิชาความรู้ให้แก่นักศึกษา และเพื่อความเป็นสิริมงคลในโอกาสเปิดภาคการศึกษาใหม่ ทั้งนี้ ได้รับเกียรติจาก ศาสตราจารย์เกียรติคุณ ดร.สมศักดิ์ รุจิรวัฒน์ อธิการบดีสถาบันบัณฑิตศึกษาจุฬาภรณ์ เป็นประธานในพิธีพร้อมกล่าวให้โอวาท โดยมีคณะผู้บริหาร อาทิ รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.พินิติ รตะนานุกูล ศาสตราจารย์เกียรติคุณ ดร. ม.ร.ว.ชิษณุสรร สวัสดิวัตน์ ศาสตราจารย์เกียรติคุณ ดร.ปิยะรัตน์ โกวิทตรพงศ์ รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.จุฑามาศ สัตยวิวัฒน์ รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.พนิดา นวสัมฤทธิ์ และคณาจารย์ประจำสถาบัน รวมทั้งบุคลากร เข้าร่วมพิธี ณ ห้องประชุมใหญ่ ชั้น 2 อาคารสถาบันบัณฑิตศึกษาจุฬาภรณ์

ภายในพิธีประกอบด้วยการกล่าวบูชาพระคุณครูโดยผู้แทนนักศึกษา และการเจิมหนังสือเรียนโดยประธานของแต่ละสาขาวิชา จากนั้น ศาสตราจารย์เกียรติคุณ ดร.สมศักดิ์ รุจิรวัฒน์ อธิการบดีสถาบันบัณฑิตศึกษาจุฬาภรณ์ได้กล่าวอวยพรพร้อมให้โอวาทแก่นักศึกษา นักศึกษาได้นำพวงมาลัยมอบแด่อธิการบดีและคณะผู้บริหาร ตลอดจนคณาจารย์ทุกท่าน พร้อมถ่ายภาพหมู่ร่วมกันเพื่อเป็นที่ระลึก ทั้งนี้ กิจกรรมไหว้ครูนับเป็นการอนุรักษ์สืบสานศิลปวัฒนธรรมธรรมและประเพณีอันดีงามของไทยให้ยั่งยืนสืบไป
