Chulabhorn Graduate Institute organized an event to commemorate the 20th anniversary of its establishment under the theme “Two Decades of Upholding the Aspiration of Princess Scientist” on Friday 22 August 2025 at the auditorium on the second floor of the Chulabhorn Graduate Institute building. The event featured the following activities:

At 10:15 AM honored guests, the Institute’s administrators, personnel, and students were assembled in the ceremony room to view the video presentation in honor of Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana, Chairperson of the Chulabhorn Graduate Institute Council.

At 10:30 AM Professor Emeritus Dr. Somsak Ruchirawat, Rector of Chulabhorn Graduate Institute, who presided over the ceremony, lighted the incense sticks and candles to pay respect to the Triple Gems (Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha) and invited nine Buddhist monks from Wat Traimit Withayaram Worawihan led by Somdet Phra Maharatchamongkolmunee (Thongchai Thammadhajo) to chant prayers of Buddhist blessings and sprinkle the holy water. Activities following the religious ceremony included a video presentation on the profiles of the achievements of the Institute’s alumni, cultural performances of both Thai and foreign students, and a get-together for lunch.

The purpose of this event was to commemorate the strong determination to create a body of knowledge of science and technology in line with the aspiration of the princess scientist, who has graciously laid the firm foundation for graduate study programs for the purpose of developing quality personnel and social innovations.

สถาบันบัณฑิตศึกษาจุฬาภรณ์ จัดงานวันคล้ายวันสถาปนาสถาบัน ในวาระครบรอบ 20 ปี ภายใต้หัวข้อ “2 ทศวรรษ สืบสานพระปณิธานเจ้าฟ้านักวิทยาศาสตร์” ในวันศุกร์ ที่ 22 สิงหาคม 2568 ณ ห้องประชุม ชั้น 2 อาคารสถาบันบัณฑิตศึกษาจุฬาภรณ์ โดยมีกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ ดังนี้

เวลา: 10.15 น. แขกผู้มีเกียรติ คณะผู้บริหาร บุคลากร และนักศึกษา พร้อมกัน ณ ห้องประกอบพิธี รับชมวีดิทัศน์เฉลิมพระเกียรติ ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สมเด็จพระเจ้าน้องนางเธอ เจ้าฟ้าจุฬาภรณวลัยลักษณ์ อัครราชกุมารี กรมพระศรีสวางควัฒน วรขัตติยราชนารี องค์นายกสภาสถาบันบัณฑิตศึกษาจุฬาภรณ์

เวลา 10.30 น. ศาสตราจารย์เกียรติคุณ ดร.สมศักดิ์ รุจิรวัฒน์ อธิการบดีสถาบันบัณฑิตศึกษาจุฬาภรณ์ ประธานในพิธีจุดธูปเทียนบูชาพระรัตนตรัย และนิมนต์พระสงฆ์ 9 รูป จากวัดไตรมิตรวิทยารามวรวิหาร นำโดย เจ้าประคุณสมเด็จพระมหารัชมงคลมุนี (ธงชัย ธมฺมธโช) สวดเจริญพระพุทธมนต์ และเจริญชัยมงคลคาถา ประพรมน้ำพระพุทธมนต์ เมื่อเสร็จพิธีสงฆ์เป็นการรับชมวีดิทัศน์ความสำเร็จของศิษย์เก่า การแสดงแลกเปลี่ยนวัฒนธรรมของนักศึกษาชาวไทยและชาวต่างชาติ จากนั้นรับประทานอาหารกลางวันร่วมกัน

การจัดงานในครั้งนี้ เป็นการรำลึกถึงความมุ่งมั่นในการสร้างสรรค์องค์ความรู้ทางวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี ภายใต้พระปณิธานของเจ้าฟ้านักวิทยาศาสตร์ ที่ได้ทรงวางรากฐานการศึกษาระดับบัณฑิตศึกษาไว้อย่างมั่นคง เพื่อพัฒนาบุคลากรที่มีคุณภาพและสร้างนวัตกรรมเพื่อสังคม
