Chulabhorn Graduate Institute extends congratulations to Dr. Natchapong Suwannawong, a faculty member of the Chemical Sciences Program, on achieving the first runner-up position for Chemistry at the Merck Young Scientist Award 2025 event.

Chulabhorn Graduate Institute wishes to most heartily congratulate Dr. Nutchapong Suwanwong, a faculty member affiliated with the Chemical Sciences Program, Chulabhorn Graduate Institute, on achieving the first runner-up or second prize at the Merck Young Scientist Award 2025 event on Friday 29 August 2025 at the Office of Academic Resources (Central Library), Chulalongkorn University. He was awarded a 20,000-baht prize, together with a certificate of recognition, a trophy, and 60,000-baht support for chemical procurement from Merck Ltd. Thailand. The Merck Young Scientist Award has been annually organized, and this year marks its seventh event.

The Young Scientist Award 2025 was held under the theme “Bridging Science and Impact for a Better World”, whose focus was on activities in the Chemistry and Biological Chemistry fields. The aim of the event was to create inspiration and encourage exchange of views of scientists all over the country. In addition, it provided a venue for hearing opinions of the winners at the Young Scientist Award event in 2023 on the topics with which they were particularly impressed, together with an Innovation Talk by the Merck team.

สถาบันบัณฑิตศึกษาจุฬาภรณ์ ขอแสดงความยินดีกับ อาจารย์ ดร.ณัชพงษ์ สุวรรณวงศ์ อาจารย์ประจำสาขาวิชาวิทยาศาสตร์เคมี สถาบันบัณฑิตศึกษาจุฬาภรณ์ ในโอกาสได้รับรางวัลรองชนะเลิศอันดับหนึ่ง (1st runner-up; 2nd prize) หมวดเคมี จากงาน Merck Young Scientist Award 2025 เมื่อวันศุกร์ที่ 29 สิงหาคม 2568 ณ หอสมุดกลาง สำนักงานวิทยทรัพยากร จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย โดยได้รับเงินรางวัล 20,000 บาท พร้อมใบประกาศเกียรติคุณ ถ้วยรางวัล และการสนับสนุนสารเคมีสำหรับโครงการมูลค่า 60,000 บาท จาก บริษัท เมอร์ค จํากัด (ประเทศไทย) ซึ่งงานดังกล่าวจัดเป็นประจำทุกปีเว้นปี สำหรับปีนี้เป็นการจัดกิจกรรม ครั้งที่ 7

งาน Young Scientist Award 2025 จัดขึ้นภายใต้ธีม “Bridging Science and Impact for a Better World” ซึ่งเน้นการปฏิบัติการในหมวด Chemistry และ Biological Science เป็นการสร้างแรงบันดาลใจและการแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองจากนักวิทยาศาสตร์ทั่วประเทศ นอกจากนี้ ยังได้รับฟังความคิดเห็นในหัวข้อที่น่าประทับใจจากผู้ชนะ Young Scientist Award 2023 และการบรรยายในหัวข้อ Innovation Talk จากทีมเมอร์ค อีกด้วย
