Chulabhorn Graduate Institute joined other Thai people in holding a Thaksinanuprathan ceremony or making merit for the deceased to commemorate the 50th day of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother.

On Friday 12 December 2568 (2025) at 9:00 AM Professor Emeritus Dr. Somsak Ruchirawat, Rector of Chulabhorn Graduate Institute, joined in a Thaksinanuprathan ceremony or making merit for the deceased to commemorate the 50th day of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother. Associate Professor Dr. Chusak Limsakul, Vice President for Administration and Buildings of Chulabhorn Research Institute, presided over the ceremony. He was accompanied by the administrators and personnel of Chulabhorn Research Institute.

The event started with offering alms to a total of 29 Buddhist monks from Wat Lak Si and Wat Si Kan (Buddha Siam) to make merit for and commemorate the passing of the Queen Mother at the main hall on the second floor of the Convention Center Building of Chulabhorn Research Institute.

Then, the chairperson lighted the incense sticks and candles to worship the Triple Gems and lighted the candles at Kruang Thong Noi (a small set of gold-plated ceremonial utensils) in front of the royal picture of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother at the Convention Center Chulabhorn Research Institute. After that the ceremony chairperson presented a memorial tribute to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother and invited the participants in the ceremony to stand in silence for 93 seconds. Finally, 10 Buddhist monks from Wat Phra Borommathat Woramahawihan chanted Buddhist prayers and pdrformed religious ceremony to end the event.

สถาบันบัณฑิตศึกษาจุฬาภรณ์ ร่วมพิธีบำเพ็ญกุศลทักษิณานุประทานปัญญาสมวาร (50 วัน) ถวายเป็นพระราชกุศลแด่ สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ พระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง

เมื่อวันศุกร์ที่ 12 ธันวาคม 2568 เวลา 09.00 น. ศาสตราจารย์เกียรติคุณ ดร.สมศักดิ์ รุจิรวัฒน์ อธิการบดีสถาบันบัณฑิตศึกษาจุฬาภรณ์ นำคณะบุคลากรของสถาบันฯ ร่วมพิธีบำเพ็ญกุศลทักษิณานุประทานปัญญาสมวาร ถวายเป็นพระราชกุศลแด่สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ พระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง ในวาระครบ 50 วันแห่งการสวรรคต โดยมี รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ชูศักดิ์ ลิ่มสกุล รองประธานสถาบันวิจัยจุฬาภรณ์ ฝ่ายบริหารและอาคารสถานที่ เป็นประธานในพิธี พร้อมด้วยคณะผู้บริหาร และบุคลากรของสถาบันวิจัยจุฬาภรณ์

ทั้งนี้ ในช่วงแรกเป็นพิธีทำบุญตักบาตรพระสงฆ์จากวัดหลักสี่และวัดสีกัน (พุทธสยาม) รวมทั้งสิ้น จำนวน 29 รูป เพื่อถวายเป็นพระราชกุศลและน้อมรำลึกถึงพระผู้เสด็จสู่สวรรคาลัย ณ บริเวณโถง ชั้น 2 อาคารศูนย์ประชุมสถาบันวิจัยจุฬาภรณ์

จากนั้น ประธานในพิธีจุดธูปเทียนบูชาพระรัตนตรัย และจุดธูปเทียนที่เครื่องทองน้อย หน้าพระบรมฉายาลักษณ์สมเด็จพระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง ห้องคอนเวนชั่น ชั้น 2 ศูนย์ประชุมสถาบันวิจัยจุฬาภรณ์ ต่อมาประธานในพิธีได้กล่าวน้อมรำลึกในพระมหากรุณาธิคุณพร้อมนำผู้เข้าร่วมพิธียืนสงบนิ่งเป็นเวลา 93 วินาที ลำดับถัดไปพระสงฆ์จากวัดพระศรีมหาธาตุวรมหาวิหาร จำนวน 10 รูป สวดพระพุทธมนต์ และประกอบพิธีสงฆ์ เป็นอันเสร็จพิธี
