Chulabhorn Graduate Institute held an event to promote Buddhism on the Magha Puja Day 2026.

On 27 February 2026 at 10:00 AM Professor Emeritus Dr. Somsak Ruchirawat, Rector of Chulabhorn Graduate Institute, presided over the opening of the event being staged to promote Buddhism on the Magha Puja Day 2026. Held at the hall in front of the lift on level 1 of the Chulabhorn Graduate Institute building, the event was participated by administrators, faculty members, and the personnel of Chulabhorn Graduate Institute, together with the researchers and personnel of Chulabhorn Research Institute. The event featured a religious ceremony consisting of Buddhist chanting by five monks from Wat Lak Si (a royal monastery), Bangkok. The chanting was led by Phra Raj Phiphatanabhorn, abbot of Wat Lak Si, who presided over the Sangha ceremony. After the chanting, the chair of the ceremony, together with the administrators, jointly offered food for lunch and the four necessities to the monks. After that the participants in the ceremony joined in making merit by offering Sangadana sets (consisting of essentials for monks such as robes) to the monks for the purpose of promoting and upholding Buddhism.

This religious activity was organized as part of the project for promoting the conservation of art and culture, which is in keeping with the Institute’s Thai art and culture promotion mission. The activity was open for participation by the personnel of all internal units for the purpose of enhancing their interpersonal unity at all levels. In addition, the Institute installed a donation box for participants who would like to make financial contributions according to their faith, which were presented to Wat Lak Si (royal monastery) for its use in upholding Buddhism.

สถาบันบัณฑิตศึกษาจุฬาภรณ์ จัดกิจกรรมส่งเสริมพระพุทธศาสนาเนื่องในวันมาฆบูชา ปี 2569

เมื่อวันศุกร์ที่ 27 กุมภาพันธ์ 2569 เวลา 10.00 น. ศาสตราจารย์เกียรติคุณ ดร.สมศักดิ์ รุจิรวัฒน์ อธิการบดีสถาบันบัณฑิตศึกษาจุฬาภรณ์ ประธานการจัดกิจกรรมส่งเสริมพระพุทธศาสนาเนื่องในวันมาฆบูชา ปี 2569 พร้อมด้วยผู้บริหาร คณาจารย์ และเจ้าหน้าที่สถาบันฯ ตลอดจนนักวิจัยและเจ้าหน้าที่สถาบันวิจัยจุฬาภรณ์ ได้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรม ณ บริเวณโถงหน้าลิฟท์ ชั้น 1 อาคารสถาบันบัณฑิตศึกษาจุฬาภรณ์ โดยนิมนต์คณะสงฆ์จากวัดหลักสี่ (พระอารามหลวง) กรุงเทพมหานคร ทำพิธีเจริญพระพุทธมนต์ นำโดยพระราชพิพัฒนาภรณ์ เจ้าอาวาสวัดหลักสี่ ประธานฝ่ายสงฆ์ พร้อมคณะฯ รวมทั้งสิ้น 5 รูป หลังเสร็จพิธีเจริญพระพุทธมนต์ ประธานในพิธีและคณะผู้บริหารได้ร่วมกันถวายภัตตาหารเพลและจตุปัจจัยไทยธรรม จากนั้น ผู้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมร่วมกันทำบุญถวายสังฆทาน เพื่อเป็นการส่งเสริมและทำนุบำรุงพระพุทธศาสนาให้ยั่งยืนสืบไป

กิจกรรมดังกล่าวเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของโครงการส่งเสริมอนุรักษ์ศิลปวัฒนธรรม ซึ่งสอดคล้องกับพันธกิจของสถาบันฯ ด้านการทำนุบำรุงศิลปวัฒนธรรมไทย โดยเปิดโอกาสให้บุคลากรจากหน่วยงานภายในได้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมอันเป็นการเสริมสร้างความสามัคคีระหว่างบุคลากรทุกระดับ นอกจากนี้ สถาบันยังได้จัดกล่องรับบริจาคสำหรับผู้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมที่ประสงค์ทำบุญตามกำลังศรัทธาเพื่อนำปัจจัยที่ได้รับทั้งหมดมอบวัดหลักสี่ (พระอารามหลวง) นำไปบำรุงพระพุทธศาสนาต่อไป
