On the 26th December, 2014, Chulabhorn Graduate Institute hold a merit ceremony by offering food to the monks as part of the ninth year anniversary of the founding of CGI as an act of respect to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, Her Majesty Queen Sirikit and Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Mahidol, Chancellor of the Chulabhorn Graduate Institute.
Prof. Dr.Somsak Ruchirawat, Rector of Chulabhorn Graduate Institute was a president of the merit making ceremony, together with colleagues from Chulabhorn Graduate Institute, Chulabhorn Research Institute, Chulabhorn Hospital executives, and Chulabhorn Graduate Institute students at Auditorium room, Chulabhorn Graduate Institute building. In the afternoon, CGI had sports events to harmonize staff and student relations. All staff and students were divided into 2 teams, orange and blue. Before the events started, Assoc. Prof. Dr.Thanuttkhul Mongkolaussavarat, Assistant Rector of CGI gave a welcoming speech, emphasizing the importance of harmony within the institute.
