CGI Songkran Festival 2013
Chulabhorn Graduate Institute held the “CGI
Songkran Festival 2013” on April 4, 2013, at the Auditorium in the Chulabhorn Graduate Building. Prof. Dr.Somsak Ruchirawat, rector of CGI
officiated as president of the opening ceremony, and CGI
students Ms.Ganeshia Kristy Pratiwi and Mr.Mario Wibowo, were Master of Ceremonies on that day. There were activities on stage such as local traditional dancing from four regions of Thailand. Then, all participants took part in the Thai New Year activity of receiving blessings from CGI
executives, lecturers and respected elders.The activity aimed to carry on the Thai New Year tradition which is a unique cultural inheritance, in order to preserve Thai culture and encourage local traditions. Additionally, it was an occasion for fostering love and being proud of Thai traditional cultural, showing gratitude, as well as enhancing the harmony between CGI
staff, teachers and students.
