Chulabhorn Graduate Institute held the CGI Songkran Festival activity on April 2nd, 2015 at the Auditorium, 2nd Floor, Chulabhorn Graduate Institute Building. The activity aimed to carry on some ancient Thai traditions which represent a unique cultural heritance of Thailand. Professor Dr.Somsak Ruchirawat, the Rector of Chulabhorn Graduate Institute, presided over the opening ceremony on that day. During the Festival, there was a parade carrying a Buddha image along with the ceremony of pouring water over the Buddha image, dancing with tom-tom, showing off Thai traditional instruments. After that, all participants took part in a Thai New Year activity of receiving blessings from CGI executives and lecturers while paying respect to the elders to show their gratitude
