Professor Dr.Somsak Ruchirawat, the Rector of Chulabhorn Graduate Institute, presided over the CGI
Wai Kru Ceremony 2015,on July 2nd, 2015, which was held at Chulabhorn Graduate Institute. The aim of this propitious ceremony was for students to show their gratitude and respect to all teachers as their first semester commenced. CGI
executives, MIT and CGI
lecturers, CGI
staff, and students participated in this Wai Kru ceremony which began with worshipping the Threefold Refuge. The students then delivered some introductory presentation on the history of the Wai Kru Ceremony. CGI
student representatives gave flowers and jasmine garlands to the teachers and all students pledged for their honesty and diligence. To conclude the ceremony, the CGI
Vice Rector anointed some CGI
textbooks, and gave a blessing to all students.
