On Tuesday 5 April 2022 at 1:30 PM, Associate Professor Dr. Piniti Ratananukul, Vice Rector of Chulabhorn Graduate Institute, presided over a Songkran event being held at the main auditorium on level two of the Chulabhorn Graduate Institute Building. Songkran Day is the traditional Thai New Year, and this event was initiated by Chulabhorn Graduate Institute in cooperation with the Institute’s Student Club under the concept of “Songkran Day and International Festival 2022”. The purpose of this collaborative effort was to contribute to the maintenance of the fine traditions of Thailand and to build up a good relationship between and among the administrators, faculty members, personnel and students of the Institute.
This Songkran event was organized in a simple form with COVID-19 control measures; in particular, participants in the event must take ATK screening prior to joining it. Its main activities included sprinkling scented water on the Buddha image, pouring scented water on the hands of the administrators and senior faculty members and asking for their blessings, and Thai and foreign students staging their cultural exhibitions. Foreign cultural exhibitions included those representing Bhutan, Nepal, Indonesia, the Philippines, Mongolia, China, and Sri Lanka.
เมื่อวันอังคารที่ 5 เมษายน 2565 เวลา 13.30 น. รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.พินิติ รตะนานุกูล รองอธิการบดีสถาบันบัณฑิตศึกษาจุฬาภรณ์ เป็นประธานการจัดกิจกรรมเนื่องในเทศกาลสงกรานต์ หรือวันปีใหม่ไทย ณ ห้องประชุมใหญ่ ชั้น 2 อาคารสถาบันบัณฑิตศึกษาจุฬาภรณ์ ภายใต้แนวคิด “Songkran Day and International Festival 2022” (วันสงกรานต์และนิทรรศการวัฒนธรรมนานาชาติ 2022) โดยสถาบันบัณฑิตศึกษาจุฬาภรณ์ร่วมกับสโมสรนักศึกษาสถาบัน จัดกิจกรรมดังกล่าวขึ้นเพื่อร่วมสืบสานประเพณีอันดีงามของไทย และเป็นการสร้างความสัมพันธ์อันดีระหว่างผู้บริหาร คณาจารย์ บุคลากร และนักศึกษา ของสถาบัน
การจัดกิจกรรมสงกรานต์ในครั้งนี้มีรูปแบบที่เรียบง่าย ภายใต้มาตรการป้องกันควบคุมโรคติดเชื้อไวรัสโคโรนา 2019 และผู้เข้าร่วมงานทุกคนได้รับการตรวจ ATK ก่อนร่วมกิจกรรม ภายในงานประกอบด้วยการสรงน้ำพระพุทธรูป การรดน้ำขอพรคณะผู้บริหารและคณาจารย์อาวุโส เพื่อความเป็นศิริมงคล และนิทรรศการแสดงวัฒนธรรมของนักศึกษาชาวไทย และต่างชาติ ได้แก่ ภูฎาน เนปาล อินโดนีเซีย ฟิลิปปินส์ มองโกเลีย จีน ศรีลังกา
