The main concept of the project is to provide a space for students and faculties to create a forum to express and share knowledge and experience on ethical and social cultural activities. We provide access to multimedia and books on good practices and guides to wisdom thinking for everyone who needs to learn the intellectual values of life, and to live a valuable life, wisely. The project aims to expand and to cover a cross-cultural scope in the future.
CGI Cultural and religious activities can be noted from the Institute’s concern for providing a Muslim prayer room which is in addition to the regular religious practice on occasional national events. CGI Cultural Hall Project is an initiative to encourage cultural attitude and practice as well as to preserve national cultures for our community, beginning with Thai culture and Buddhism.
Venue: CGI Learning Center on 12nd Floor, with multimedia presentation illustrating Thai Buddhist culture and book exhibition.
- Exhibitions to be held regularly on topics corresponding with the CGI activities and national cultural events.
- Distributes Buddhist and religious teaching in form of books and multimedia in Thai and in English at least one title a month.
- Presents on CGI website and social media all archival material for retrospective reviews.
- Refreshments: healthy and herbal drinks will be served to all participants.

วัฒนธรรม เป็นแบบแผนในความคิด และการกระทำที่แสดงออกถึงวิถีชีวิตของมนุษย์ในสังคมกลุ่มใดกลุ่มหนึ่ง มนุษย์ได้คิดสร้างระเบียบกฎเกณฑ์วิธีการในการปฏิบัติในด้านต่างๆ เช่น ศาสนา ศิลป ประเพณี ดังเช่น เมื่อพูดถึงบุคคลหนึ่งว่า “เป็นคนมีวัฒนธรรม” ก็มักหมายความว่าเป็นคนมีระเบียบวินัย
ในระยะเริ่มต้น สถาบันฯ ได้จัดให้มีห้องละหมาดสำหรับศาสนาอิสลามไว้บริเวณชั้น 3 และได้เริ่มโครงการห้องวัฒนธรรม เพื่อสืบสานวัฒนธรรมชาวพุทธ จัดทำเป็นนิทรรศการด้านศาสนา ประเพณี ในรูปแบบสื่อ Multimedia บริเวณศูนย์การเรียนรู้ ชั้น 12
มีแนวคิดที่จะให้คณาจารย์ นักศึกษา บุคลากร มีพื้นที่จัดกิจกรรมทางวัฒนธรรมที่เอื้อและส่งเสริมให้มีการพัฒนาด้านคุณธรรม จริยธรรม ร่วมกันอย่างสม่ำเสมอ ตลอดทั้งจัดให้มีสื่อธรรมะ เพื่อเป็นข้อคิดในการดำเนินชีวิต และให้เห็นแนวทางในการพิจารณาสิ่งต่างๆ โดยใช้ปัญญา เพื่อให้ดำเนินชีวิตอย่างมีคุณค่า
การดำเนินโครงการนี้จะมีการขยายผลไปสู่การเรียนรู้ในวัฒนธรรมของชาติอื่นๆ ต่อไป
- จัดบอร์ดพร้อมนิทรรศการในรูปแบบสื่อ Multimedia แสดงกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ
- เผยแพร่และถ่ายทอดสื่อธรรมะ คติธรรม พุทธพจน์ต่างๆ รวมทั้งแนะนำหนังสือด้านวัฒนธรรม ศาสนาและปรัชญา(ภาษาไทยและภาษาอังกฤษ)
- นำบอร์ดและนิทรรศการแสดงกิจกรรมต่างๆ ที่ได้จัดไปแล้ว เผยแพร่ใน Website และ Social media ของหน่วยงานภายในสถาบัน
- จัดเครื่องดื่มสมุนไพรไว้บริการแก่ผู้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรม
