The Chulabhorn Graduate Institute organized an orientation for in-coming students for the academic year 2014 on June 3, 2014. Professor Dr.Somsak Ruchirawat, CGI Rector, gave a welcome speech and advice to all freshmen. Associate Professor Dr.Jutamaad Satayavivad, CGI Vice Rector, and Associate Professor Dr.Thanuttkhul Mongkolaussavarat, CGI Assistant Rector, also welcomed all new students. Faculty representatives on the Curriculum Management Committee of the Applied Biological Sciences – Environmental Health, Chemical Biology, and Environmental Toxicology programs then briefly presented the scope of study and research highlights of their respective programs to all the students to conclude the morning session. In the afternoon, all freshmen attended laboratory safety training followed by library orientation, where they learnt how to use the electronic library resource for conducting literature searches.
