On July 2nd,Chulabhorn Graduate Institute organized the CGI Orientation for the new entering class of students enrolled in the 2015 academic year as an initiatory important step for their studies at Chulabhorn Graduate Institute.
Professor Dr.Somsak Ruchirawat, CGI Rector, gave a welcome speech and advice to all first-year students. In addition, Associate Professor Dr.Jutamaad Satayavivad, CGI Vice Rector, and Associate Professor Dr.Thanuttkhul Mongkolaussavarat, CGI Assistant Rector, also welcomed all new students Representatives from the Curriculum Management Committee of the Applied Biological Sciences – Environmental Health, Chemical Biology, and Environmental Toxicology programs briefly presented the scope of study and research highlights of their respective programs. All first-year students then attended laboratory safety training followed by library orientation, where they learnt how to use the electronic library resource for conducting literature searches.
