On the 15th of February 2019 at 10:30 am, Associate Professor Dr. Thanuttkhul Mongkolaussavarat, Assistant Rector of Chulabhorn Graduate Institute, presided over Makha Bucha Day as part of the Cultural Arts Conservation Project with staff, faculty members, students and the public participated in the event. The event was held at the Chulabhorn Graduate Institute Building, ground floor, and hosted a range of activities that includes questionnaire games with lantern altars as prizes, Thai desserts for nibbles and drinks, multimedia presentations and CGI’s souvenirs for purchases. Over 100 people joined the event.
The Cultural Arts Conservation Project on Makha Bucha Day is part of the Institute’s mission to preserve Thai cultural heritage in an effort to sustain and encourage the community to mark the importance of Makha Bucha and Buddhism in Thai culture.
