Preparatory Course:

CGET 502 Molecular and Cell Biosciences (3 credits)

Course Description:

Molecular and Cell Biosciences deals with advances in molecular and cell biology, including gene regulation and integrative biology. It will examine the processes common to all life forms, building from a foundation of molecular biology towards an understanding of how cells function, including the various different cellular components, as well as processes such as signal transduction. Finally, the course will also cover cellular processes that lead to differentiation, aging and tumorigenesis.
