On December 28th, 2015, Chulabhorn Graduate Institute held a merit ceremony by offering food to the monks as part of the ten-year anniversary to commemorate the establishment of CGI. The morning event served as an act to pay respect to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, Her Majesty Queen Sirikit and Professor Dr.Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Mahidol, Chancellor of the Chulabhorn Graduate Institute.
Professor Dr. Somsak Ruchirawat, Rector of Chulabhorn Graduate Institute presided over the merit-making ceremony, in which executives and staff members from Chulabhorn Graduate Institute, Chulabhorn Research Institute, as well as Chulabhorn Hospital, along with students from Chulabhorn Graduate Institute participated. The event was held in the Main Auditorium, second floor of the Chulabhorn Graduate Institute Building. In addition, representatives from the Bureau of the Budget were also the guests of honor during this morning event.
In the afternoon, CGI hosted some recreational games as well as men and women football with the aim to foster active participations from and build stronger bonds and relationships among students, staffs, and faculty members Before the afternoon events, Associate Professor Dr.Thanuttkhul Mongkolaussavarat, Assistant Rector of CGI gave a welcoming speech, emphasizing the importance of harmony within the institute.
