On Thursday 2 February 2023, Chulabhorn Graduate Institute organized basic fire-fighting training for more than 70 of its personnel and employees working at the Chulabhorn Graduate Institute building. A team of resource persons led by Police Corporal Ongart Charoenyai was invited from the Bangkok Fire and Rescue Department (Lad Phrao Fire and Rescue Station) to give a lecture on fire fighting in the morning session at the main auditorium on level 2 of the Chulabhorn Graduate Institute building. The afternoon session involved practical training, whereby the training team gave all trainees an opportunity to take part in a practice of basic fire prevention on the front open area on the first floor of the Chulabhorn Graduate Institute building.

The purpose of this basic fire-fighting training was to provide the trainees, who are the personnel and employees working at the Chulabhorn Graduate Institute building, with knowledge and understanding about fire and the method of fire-fighting, equipping them with preparedness and skills for preventing and fighting fire which may occur, and inculcating in them an awareness of fire safety, which will, in turn, result in cooperation in the prevention of fire.

เมื่อวันที่ 2 กุมภาพันธ์ 2566 สถาบันบัณฑิตศึกษาจุฬาภรณ์ได้จัดโครงการอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการดับเพลิงขั้นต้น ให้แก่บุคลากรและผู้ปฏิบัติงานประจำอาคารสถาบันบัณฑิตศึกษาจุฬาภรณ์ กว่า 70 คน โดยเชิญคณะวิทยากรจากสำนักป้องกันและบรรเทาสาธารณภัย (สถานีดับเพลิงและกู้ภัยลาดพร้าว) กรุงเทพมหานคร ซึ่งมี ส.ต.ท.องอาจ เจริญใหญ่ เป็นหัวหน้าคณะวิทยากรเป็นผู้ให้การบรรยายในภาคเช้า ณ ห้องประชุมใหญ่ ชั้น 2 อาคารสถาบันบัณฑิตศึกษาจุฬาภรณ์ และภาคบ่ายเป็นการฝึกปฏิบัติโดยทีมงานได้เปิดโอกาสให้ผู้เข้ารับการอบรมทุกคน ร่วมปฏิบัติการทดสอบการป้องกันอัคคีภัยเบื้องต้น ณ บริเวณลาน ชั้น 1 ด้านหน้าอาคารสถาบันบัณฑิตศึกษาจุฬาภรณ์

การอบรมดับเพลิงขั้นต้นดังกล่าว มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อให้ผู้เข้ารับการอบรมได้รับความรู้ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับอัคคีภัยและวิธีการดับเพลิง เป็นการเตรียมความพร้อม และความชำนาญให้กับบุคลากรและผู้ปฏิบัติงานในการป้องกันและรับมือกับอัคคีภัยที่อาจจะเกิดขึ้นได้ อันจะช่วยผู้ปฏิบัติงานในอาคารทุกคนเกิดความตระหนักในความปลอดภัยด้านอัคคีภัย และส่งผลให้เกิดความร่วมมือร่วมใจในการป้องกันอัคคีภัยอีกด้วย
