Chulabhorn Graduate Institute provided an academic service by organizing a training session on “Be Prepared, Fill in Knowledge Gaps, Grow Sustainably” to strengthen financial literacy”

On Friday 19 May 2023 at 9:00-12:00 hours, Chulabhorn Graduate Institute initiated an academic service activity by organizing a training session on “Be Prepared, Fill in Knowledge Gaps, Grow Sustainably”. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thanuttkhul Mongkolaussavarat, Assistant Rector, presided over and delivered a message for the opening of the session. Khun Tattapol Methiwiriyabhorn, or “Coach Gap” (former Co-Founder of Money Class, financial, insurance and investment advisor), kindly accepted to be the resource-person for the training session and engage in exchanges of views, especially on savings, with the participants, whose number amounted to more than 60. The academic service activity was held at lecture room 2 on level 2 of the Chulabhorn Graduate Institute building.

This training session project was initiated as an academic service to society for the purpose of strengthening the financial literacy of participants, who would then use such literacy to map out their financial plans and create ideas for their preparation for a secure and sustainable life. The training session was aimed, in other words, to develop skills for financial management that is commensurable with expenses, savings, and investment, as well as for planning life after retirement. In short, the training session would contribute to the financial health of the participants.

เมื่อวันศุกร์ที่ ๑๙ พฤษภาคม ๒๕๖๖ เวลา ๐๙.๐๐ – ๑๒.๐๐ น. สถาบันบัณฑิตศึกษาจุุฬาภรณ์ ได้จัดกิจกรรมโครงการ “เตรียมความพร้อม เติมความรู้ เติบโตอย่างมั่นคง” โดยรองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ธณัฏฐ์คุณ มงคลอัศวรัตน์ ผู้ช่วยอธิการบดีสถาบันบัณฑิตศึกษาจุฬาภรณ์ เป็นประธานกล่าวเปิดการอบรม ทั้งนี้ ได้รับเกียรติจากคุณทัตพล เมธีวิริยาภรณ์ หรือ “โค้ชแก๊ปเปอร์” (อดีต Co-Founder of Money Class ที่ปรึกษาการเงิน ประกัน และลงทุน) เป็นวิทยากรให้การอบรมพร้อมแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นด้านการออมเงินกับผู้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรม ณ ห้องบรรยาย ๒ (ชั้น ๒) อาคารสถาบันบัณฑิตศึกษาจุฬาภรณ์ โดยมีบุคลากรหน่วยงานภายใต้มูลนิธิจุฬาภรณ์ และราชวิทยาลัยจุฬาภรณ์ ให้ความสนใจเข้าร่วมอบรมกว่า 60 คน

โครงการให้ความรู้ดังกล่าวเป็นการให้บริการวิชาการแก่สังคม เพื่อเสริมความรู้ทางการเงิน อันจะสามารถใช้เป็นแนวทางในการวางแผนทางการเงิน ซึ่งช่วยให้เกิดแนวคิดที่ทำให้ผู้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมเตรียมความพร้อมเพื่อนำชีวิตไปสู่ความมั่นคง เป็นการสร้างทักษะสำหรับการบริหารและจัดการรายรับให้เพียงพอต่อรายจ่าย การออม การลงทุน รวมทั้งสามารถนำมาใช้เป็นแนวทางในการวางแผนการเกษียณ ช่วยให้ผู้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมมีสุขภาพทางการเงินที่ดีขึ้น
