Mr. Mario Wibowo, our alumnus from Indonesia, has recently been appointed as a research fellow at Singapore Institute of Food and Biotechnological Innovation (SIFBI), a part of Agency for Science, Technology, and Research (A*STAR). A*STAR is Singapore’s government agency dedicated to fostering world-class scientific research and talent for a vibrant knowledge-based economy.
Mr. Mario Wibowo was our scholarship awardee, who enrolled in Masters program in Chemical Biology in 2012 and successfully graduated in 2014. During his Masters studies, he worked under the supervision of Associate Professor Dr. Prasat Kittakoop. After the completion of his Masters education, he pursued a Ph.D. in Griffith University, Australia. Mario subsequently worked for three years at the Technical University of Denmark as a postdoc a project involving the chemical ecology of microbial secondary metabolites.
Mario is an outstanding alumnus who is one of the prides of Chulabhorn Graduate Institute. We wish him all the success in his professional career.
