Chulabhorn Graduate Institute held the CGI Songkran Festival 2018

Chulabhorn Graduate Institute celebrated the Songkran festival on April 3rd 2018 at the Auditorium, 2nd Floor, Chulabhorn Graduate Institute Building. On the occasion of Songkran (or Thai traditional New Year), staff and students pay respect to the senior administration team, which includes senior faculty members by watering scented water on their hands. After the completion of the water blessing ceremony, Professor Dr. Somsak Ruchirawat, the rector, gave blessings to all staff and students.

This year’s Songkran Festival was under the theme “Thai central dress” where students also performed Thai traditional dance. The Songkran Festival is a part of the Thai Cultural Project, whose mission is to preserve Thai culture and heritage and promote cultural appreciation.
