On Monday, 11 November 2018 at 11.30. Professor Dr.Somsak Ruchirawat, the rector of the institute, presided the activity to promote the cultural and art conservation of Loy Krathong day 2019. Loy Krathong frestival is an event held annually throughout the kingdom to dedicate gratitude to water that is used to nourish and sustain life. The event was joined by faculty members, staff and students of the Institute. Loy meaning float and Krathong that is made from a floatable basin topped with flower decoration, which was floated at the pond area 1st floor of the Chulabhorn Graduate Institute. At the event, lucky draws were organized by the Institute’s student club, sales’s memorial the institute at discount prices and free books with welcome drinks and Thai dessert. In addition, it also gives the opportunity for the personnel of the Chulabhorn Research Institute and Chulabhorn Royal Academy, as well as outsiders to join the event and receive souvenirs on the occasion of wearing traditional Thai dress.
The activity is part of the project to promote the cultural and art conservation which is consistent with mission to preserve the arts and culture of Thailand. It also to bolster unity, warmth and togetherness within the institution.
เมื่อวันจันทร์ที่ 11 พฤศจิกายน 2562 เวลา 11.30 ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สมศักดิ์ รุจิรวัฒน์ อธิการบดีสถาบันบัณฑิตศึกษาจุฬาภรณ์ เป็นประธานการจัดกิจกรรมส่งเสริมอนุรักษ์ศิลปวัฒนธรรมเนื่องในวันลอยกระทง ปี 2562 พร้อมด้วยผู้บริหาร คณาจารย์ เจ้าหน้าที่ และนักศึกษาของสถาบัน ได้ร่วมกันลอยกระทงซึ่งทำจากวัสดุธรรมชาติ ณ บริเวณสระน้ำ ลานเอนกประสงค์ ชั้น 1 อาคารสถาบันบัณฑิตศึกษาจุฬาภรณ์ โดยกิจกรรมประกอบด้วยบูธสอยดาวของสโมสรนักศึกษาสถาบัน บูธกิจกรรมประดิษฐ์กระทงด้วยวัสดุธรรมชาติ บูธขายเสื้อตราสัญลักษณ์ ในราคาพิเศษและหนังสือแจกฟรี พร้อมด้วยอาหารว่างขนมไทยและเครื่องดื่มต่างๆ ทั้งนี้ ได้รับความสนใจจากบุคลากรสถาบันวิจัยจุฬาภรณ์และราชวิทยาลัยจุฬาภรณ์ ตลอดจนบุคคลภายนอกเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมและรับของที่ระลึกในโอกาสที่สวมผ้าไทยเข้าร่วมงานอีกด้วย
สำหรับกิจกรรมดังกล่าว เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของโครงการส่งเสริมอนุรักษ์ศิลปวัฒนธรรม ซึ่งสอดคล้องกับ พันธกิจด้านการทำนุบำรุงศิลปวัฒนธรรมของไทย รวมทั้งเป็นการส่งเสริมให้เกิดความสามัคคีระหว่างหน่วยงานภายใน
