On 16 November 2020, Adjunct Professor Dr. Anek Laothamatas, Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), paid a visit to Chulabhorn Royal Academy and engaged in exchange of ideas with the Academy’s administrators and students. Established in accordance with the vision and aspiration of Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana, President of Chualabhorn Royal Academy, the Academy is an institution of advanced learning specializing in science, research, education and healthcare services. The minister was welcomed by Professor Dr. Nithi Mahanond, Secretary-General of Chulabhorn Royal Academy, who then led him to the main auditorium on the third floor of the Academy building, where he presented to the minister a profile of the projects of its various departments.
After that, Clinical Professor Chomsri Kositchaiwat M.D., acting Rector of Princess Chulabhorn Medical Science Institute, made a presentation on the production and development of Thailand’s medical, health science, and public health personnel. This presentation was followed by that of Professor Emeritus Somsak Ruchirawat, Rector of Chulabhorn Graduate Institute, on the production of high quality graduates in science and technology in response to the country’s development needs.
เมื่อวันที่ 16 พฤศจิกายน 2563 ศาสตราจารย์พิเศษ ดร.เอนก เหล่าธรรมทัศน์ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการอุดมศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัยและนวัตกรรม (รมว.อว.) และคณะผู้บริหารฯ (อว.) ได้เข้าเยี่ยมสถานศึกษาและแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้กับคณะผู้บริหารและนักศึกษาของราชวิทยาลัยจุฬาภรณ์ ซึ่งเป็นสถาบันด้านวิทยาศาสตร์ การค้นคว้าวิจัย การศึกษา และบริการทางสุขภาพที่จัดตั้งขึ้นจากพระวิสัยทัศน์และพระปณิธานใน สมเด็จเจ้าฟ้าฯ กรมพระศรีสวางควัฒน วรขัตติยราชนารี องค์ประธานราชวิทยาลัยจุฬาภรณ์ โดยมีศาสตราจารย์ นายแพทย์นิธิ มหานนท์ เลขาธิการราชวิทยาลัยจุฬาภรณ์ ให้การต้อนรับและนำเสนอข้อมูลภาพรวมโครงการของส่วนงานต่างๆในราชวิทยาลัยจุฬาภรณ์ ต่อคณะรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการอุดมศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัยและนวัตกรรม ณ ห้องประชุมใหญ่ ชั้น 3 อาคารสำนักงานราชวิทยาลัยจุฬาภรณ์
จากนั้น เป็นการนำเสนอข้อมูลการผลิตและพัฒนาบุคลากรทางการแพทย์ วิทยาศาสตร์สุขภาพ และการสาธารณสุขของประเทศไทย โดยศาสตราจารย์คลินิก แพทย์หญิงโฉมศรี โฆษิตชัยวัฒน์ รักษาการอธิการบดีวิทยาลัยวิทยาศาสตร์การแพทย์เจ้าฟ้าจุฬาภรณ์ ต่อด้วยการนำเสนอข้อมูลของศาสตราจารย์เกียรติคุณ ดร.สมศักดิ์ รุจิรวัฒน์ อธิการบดีสถาบันบัณฑิตศึกษาจุฬาภรณ์ ในการผลิตบัณฑิตด้านวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีระดับสูงที่มีคุณภาพเพื่อตอบสนองความต้องการในการพัฒนาประเทศ
