Wai Khru Ceremony 2013

CGI executives, instructors, staff and students together with Instructors from MIT participated in the Wai Kru Ceremony on 27th June, 2013, in the Auditorium, 2nd Floor, CGI building. Professor Doctor Kasem Watanachai, Privy Councilor and Vice Chairperson of CGI was president of the CGI Wai Kru Ceremony 2013. The purpose of this activity is to show respect and gratitude to all teachers and to observe an important aspect of Thai culture. Also, it builds a good relationship between teachers and students as well as welcomes all new students to the institute. At the activity, there were presentations of the history of the Wai Kru Ceremony on stage. After that, the CGI representatives gave flowers and jasmine garlands to teachers and made a pledge to be good and worthy students. Finally, the president anointed the CGI book for good luck, and together with Prof. Dr.Somsak Ruchirawat, CGI rector gave their blessing to all students.
